Ritual, communal, and respect were the words that directed the design. To be part of the daily ritual for someone’s day—moments of self-reflection, peace, focus, or motivation are the drivers for the emotional benefits that Fourth House provides. I developed the name based on the astrological Fourth House: The House of Family and Home. The Fourth House is commonly known as the House of Home. When we think of home, we think of where we put down our roots. The design incorporated an unfolded home, and within the walls are the phases of the moon—the new moon (North), the full moon (South), the waxing moon (West), and the waning moon (East). At the center and heart is the monogram of the Fourth House.
Bringing people together through coffee and connecting them to the agricultural level is essential to the brand. They are committed to using only fair-trade beans grown, harvested, roasted, and brewed with nothing short of love and respect—respect for the product, the craft, and all those whose effort goes into bringing you your daily brew.
